No one is immune to homelessness. Anyone can find themselves in this most unpleasant, unplanned situation at any moment due to a variety of circumstances beyond our immediate control. Planning to assist with speedy recovery in a way that allows those in crisis to retain dignity and self-worth is crucial. If you are in an "at risk" situation, meaning that you are in housing that is no longer affordable to you and your family (mounting bills, loss of income, illness, etc..), please seek preventive assistance immediately by clicking AT RISK.

If you are already without adequate shelter for you and your family, contact your local Information and Referral Service hotline immediately (by calling 211 in Lee County) for the most up-to-date local resources, or visit 211 ONLINE. Also, make contact with our local Lee County Homeless Coalition on the web or call 239-533-7900 as soon as possible during normal business hours.
