The Lee County Department of Human Services has funding available for Housing Rehabilitation and Neighborhood Stabilization Program activities in unincorporated Lee County. These programs are utilized to assist low and very low income property owners in making necessary home repairs. Lee County's Housing Programs can provide contracting opportunities for you.
How to Qualify:

You must attend a General Contractors Workshop.

E-mail your company name, address, phone number and email address to jsutton@leegov.com and ask to be put on the waiting list for the next workshop. If a workshop has been scheduled you will be notified.

If you are not a vendor with Lee County BoCC, click here to print the application and instructions.

Return your application with copies of licenses and insurance to: Jeannie Sutton at Lee County Deptartment of Human Services, 2440 Thompson Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901 or by scanning and emailing to jsutton@leegov.com

The Lee County Licensing Department receives all State or local licenses you hold as well as your Occupational License, Workers Compensation Insurance, or the State's Exemption form, and General Liability Insurance. An administrative service charge to enter this information on the licensing computers must be paid annually.

The Risk Management Office requires a Certificate of Insurance evidencing your Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automotive Liability insurance in accordance with the attached Insurance Guide. In some instances automotive liability insurance may be waived, however, that decision is made on a project by project basis. If you have any questions regarding the County's insurance requirements, please contact the Risk Management Office at (239) 533-2309.

The Lee County Department of Human Services office posts Invitations to bid and/or job specifications on the Current Bid Opportunities webpage.Save this webpage to your favorites or subscribe to the live RSS feed to get the latest updates. Bids must be received in a sealed, labeled envelope, and stamped no later than 3pm on the day specified to return the bid.
